Taking the IELTS Test in Leeds
We are pleased to inform students that it is now possible to take your IELTS test at the IELTS test centre in Leeds. Based just a few minutes away from our Leeds Languages school, the new test centre runs year-round exam dates. We will post all test dates on this site as soon as they are available.
How do I book an IELTS test?
If you require an IELTS test and you book to study at least one week of IELTS preparation with us, Leeds Languages will book your test for you. You must enrol on an IELTS preparation course first and state your prefered test date.
If you only require an IELTS test but no preparation course you will have to book the test yourself. You can do this by searching through the test centres on the IELTS website.
All exams take place on Thursdays or Saturdays (speaking tests may be on a different date)
Test fees: £115.00
IELTS Test Booking Service
All students registered to study an IELTS preparation course with Leeds Languages may book their IELTS test through us.
When students are ready to take the IELTS test our school administrator will assist you in completing the test registration form and booking the next available test date. This service is offered to all registered students at no additional cost. But students have to pay for IELTS examination fee at a current rate of £115.00.
We strongly recommend that all students intending to take an IELTS test attend an IELTS preparation course first. Students may enrol and study for as many weeks as they wish, with a minimum of 1 week.
IELTS Preparation Courses
Leeds Languages specialises in IELTS preparation courses. Our IELTS course has been inspected and accredited by the British Council.
The aim of the course is to improve overall attainment in the four key skills areas of
reading, writing, listening and speaking
The IELTS preparation module uses specialised study materials and previous Cambridge IELTS test papers to focus on areas of weakness and enable students to achieve their required grade under mock test conditions prior to entering for the actual test.
