(1) 10% to 20% discount on Guardianship Service Fee  

 

From 1st April 2011 until further notice, all students under 18 years old that are successfully placed by Chinese UK Study Company Limited in UK schools, colleges or Universities will receive 20% discount on the first year’s Guardianship Service Fee, and 10% discount on subsequent years’ Guardianship Service fees. The following terms and conditions apply:-

 

Terms and Conditions 

 

(1) If a student applies for the same UK education institution through another agent and is successfully admitted by the institution, the student cannot enjoy any discount on guardianship service fee.

 

(2) If a student applies for a UK institution through Chinese UK Study Company Limited and is successfully offered a place, but the student decides to decline the offer or does not pay the tuition fees or boarding fees, the student cannot enjoy any discount on our guardianship service fee.

 

(3) The discount on the guardianship service fee has no cash value. Students cannot request for cash or equivalent value of services or products in lieu of the discount.

 

(4) The discount only applies to Chinese UK Study Company Limited's guardianship service fees, which are currently 450 pounds + 20% VAT per term (3 terms in 1 year). Discounts cannot be applied to guardianship registration fee, transportation fees, homestay or boarding fees, visiting fees, school fees, uniform fees and extracurricular activities fees etc.

 

(5) Chinese UK Study Company Limited reserves the final right to decide whether the parent / student can receive the discount or not.

 

(6) Chinese UK Study Company Limited reserves the final right to determine whether guardianship service will be provided to the student or not. If we decide we will not provide guardianship service to the student, the discount on the guardianship service fee cannot be used.

 

(7) Chinese UK Study Company Limited can terminate the discount on our guardianship service fees at any time without notice.

 

 

(2) Promotion on Leeds Languages

(3) Statement on UK Foreign Student Visas (Changes Starting from April 2012)

 

The Home Secretary delivered this statement to the house on 21 March 2011. References of a political nature have been removed.

 

From April 2012 :-

 

From April 2012 all institutions wanting to sponsor students will have to be classed as 'highly trusted sponsors' and become accredited by statutory education inspection bodies by the end of 2012;

 

►English Level - Those coming to study at degree level will have to speak English at an upper intermediate level.  Others will have to speak English at an intermediate level;

 

►UKBA officers will be given the discretion to refuse entry to students who can't speak English without an interpreter and who do not meet the required minimum standards.

 

►Students at universities and publicly funded further education colleges will retain current work rights but all other students will have no right to work;

 

The 'post study work route', which allowed students two years to seek employment after their course ended, will close;

 

Meanwhile, only postgraduate students at universities and government sponsored students to be will be able to bring their family members with them;

 

►The overall time that can be spent on a student visa will be limited to three years at lower levels, as now, and five years at higher levels. There is currently no limit for study at or above degree level.
